Luscious Potion Disney Collection

Hi!  Today i have a review for Luscious Potion Disney Collection, which is also their first collection!  This collection consist of five polishes which are all inspired by different Disney princesses.  You can purchase Luscious Potion here.  You can contact Susan, the creator, and find coupon codes by 'liking' the Luscious Potion Facebook page here.  Now lets get into it!

First, we have 'Elegant Lotus', it contains red, blue, and green different sized hexes in a sheer shimmery light pink base.  For the swatch below i applied three coats and topcoat.  With tree coats, it just about covered VNL (visible nail line).

Elegant Lotus
'Cutie Star' contains small black hexes, matte black stars and holo peach butterflies in a shimmery pastel yellow base.  I applied three coats with topcoat.  The small hexes applied easy but fishing for the stars and butterflies was tedious.
Cutie Star
'Royal Beauty' contains yellow, teal, and aqua medium hexes, teal squares and aqua diamonds in a clear base.  Application was good and i think the colors go so well together.  I applied 2 coats with topcoat on top of Deborah Lippmann 'On The Beach'.
Royal Beauty
'Innocent Snow' contains red, blue, and sheer white squares with neon yellow small hexes in a clear base.  I put two coats over white with no topcoat.  It had great application and the glitters were easy to work with.
Innocent Snow
'Simply Magical' contains sheer white and blue small hexes and blue stars.  I put two coats over top of WnW 'Fergalicious'.  You have to fish for the stars a little but by turning your bottle upside down before you apply, it helps for the fishing.
Simply Magical
That's it for today's post! Thanks for reading and enjoy your day

Technicolor Noise

'Star Seeds" is so gorgeous! It contains scattered fine holo glitters in a black base.   It took two coats to get full opacity.  I also applied top coat.  I'm mad my camera doesn't pick up the holo goodness.  It sparkles like crazy in the sun light!
Star Seeds

'Moonbeam' is a beautiful blue to purple duo-chrome.  It was opaque in two coats and application was amazing!

Sugar Rush Collection - Part 2

Today I have part 2 of the 'Suagr Rush' collection!  After trying out all the colors in this collection, i must say that i am impressed.  I haven't bought Sinful Colors since about August of 2012, I stopped buying them because i wasn't pleased with their formula.  But since trying them I think they redid they're formula and i love it!  Most of the colors went on so nice and smooth.  Now lets get into the colors!

First we have 'Sweet Tooth'.  A pretty lilac with micro-shimmer.  This is 2 coat with no top coat.  Application was thin and went on smoothly.

Sweet Tooth

'Cotton Candy' is a light pink crelly with micro-shimmer.  It needs 3 coats to be opaque.  But, I love it! So gorgeous.  Nice application too.

Cotton Candy

'Sugar N Spice' is a dark pink creme with micro-shimmer.  This is 2 coats with no top coat.  Application was great!

Sugar N Spice

'Sweet Nothing" is a blue creme.  2 coats and no top coat for the swatch below! Great Application.

Well that's it for the collection! Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Sugar Rush Collection - Part 1

Today i have part 1 of the Sinful Colors 'Sugar Rush' collection!  I'm not the biggest fan of the brand Sinful Colors but, this particular collection has colors that make me drool.  Lets get into it!

First we have 'Sugar Rush', a light blue creme. For this swatch I used 2 coats and no top coat.  The formula was thin and easy to work with.

Sugar Rush

This is 'Orange Creme', a pastel orange.  This was 3 coats with no top coat.  This has micro shimmer that is impossible to capture on camera and hard to see on the nail, but it's definitely there.  Application was thin and easy to work with also.

Orange Creme
'Unicorn' is a pastel yellow creme.  I'm not sure why Sinful Colors added this to the collection because i believe this color was already available to purchase before the Sugar Rush collection was formed. Anyway, this swatch is 3 coats with no topcoat.  Application was thin and easy.

Unicorn

'Candy Coated' is a very light pastel blurple (blue+purple).  It looks lavender but it has a little bit more blue hues to it than purple.  For this swatch i used 2 coats and no top coat.  This polish also has micro-shimmer.  The application was thickish, and not as thin as the others.  But still workable.

Candy  Coated

That's it for today's post!  Keep an eye out for part 2 of the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection coming soon!  Sinful Colors is available at Walmart, Walgreen's, CVS, ect.

Thanks for reading everyone! Have a nice day.

Nail Polish Couture Review

Hi everyone! Today I have 3 polishes from an indie brand called Nail Polish Couture.  Brittany, the owner, sent me 'Lavender Delight', 'Michelle', and 'Galaxy' to review.  HERE is where you can buy these polishes and other polishes Brittany has for sale.

The first polish I have to show you is Lavender Delight.  This polish is a lavender crème which is opaque in 2 coats!  This polish is special because one of her Instagram followers named it for her!
Application was smooth and it was easy to apply.  The swatch below is 2 coats with top coat.

Michelle is a purple to pink thermal polish! When cold, it is a gorgeous dark purple, and when warm, it is pink!  I used 3 coats for my swatch.  It is a jelly but it is buildable to opaqueness. Or you can use 2-3 coats over white.

When cold

When warm

Galaxy is a black jelly with fine silver holo hexes.  For my swatch I used 1 coat over black.  Application was perfectooo!

Love, Angeline 'Love Always' Collection

Hey everyone! Today I have reviews and swatches of a new indie brand called Love, Angeline.  Her first collection is called 'Love Always'.  It's made up of 5 gorgeous glitter toppers! You can purchase these polishes here.  And here is the Love, Angeline Facebook Page where you can contact Natosha the owner, or ask any questions you have.

Now lets get into it!

The first polish I have is called Enchanted Love.  It has small fuchsia hexes, medium holo teal hexes, and fine matte black hexes. I absolutely love this polish, mainly because of the color of the glitters, and how well they go together. I had no problem with application.

The next polish is called First Love.  It has medium lilac holo hexes, fine silver holo hexes and pearly grey/silver hearts.  Unfortunately I didn't get any hearts in my swatch.  I even fished for them but I couldn't get any! Kind of frustrating but I still like this polish.  The application was great.

Next is She Loves Me.  This has my least favorite kind of glitter in it.  Some may know it as 'taco glitter'.  This is where the glitter seems it is not sitting flat on the nail and lifting up to create a curve or 'taco' shape.  It contains small gold hexes and pearly silver/grey fine hexes.  Even though im not a fan of this glitter, the application was so amazing.  Literally just slid right onto my nail!

1 coat of She Loves Me over O.P.I. Don't Pretzel My Buttons

Poisoned Love is made up of small gold hexes, medium brown hexes, and very fine brown hexes.  I love the speckled look the very fine brown hexes give.  I'm not a fan of the color brown but I must admit I like this polish! But it has the taco glitters *sigh*.  Oh well, its still beautiful! Application was good.

1 coat of Poisoned Love over O.P.I. Pink Friday

Love Struck is made up of small corally (yes I made up that word) orange and yellow matte hexes.  I love the color combination of these two glitters and I feel like they compliment each other.  Application was a little tricky but workable.
